Leading cloud email security and continuity vendor, Topsec Cloud Solutions, have been named as an approved GCloud 10 supplier by the UK Government. The email security specialists provide a full range of email security and continuity solutions to help protect government organisations from email borne threats. G-Cloud 10 is the latest version of an initiative by the UK Government which aims to ease the procurement of cloud-based services by public sector bodies. Topsec were also involved with GCloud 7, 8 and 9.
Dropbox has advised users who signed-up prior to mid-2012 to change their passwords due to a breach which seen almost 68 million user’s credentials stolen. The hack which occurred 4 years ago has come as no surprise but the sheer size of the database stolen only became public knowledge earlier last week when a 5GB cache of login credentials started doing the rounds on well-known database trading sites.
